StratosFuel was founded in August of 2013 in Southern California. The concept for StratosFuel began as an idea to generate movement for the new wave of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles that were coming to market. Soon after the idea developed into a network of hydrogen stations that had three key aspects: reliability, sustainability, and efficiency. Through these key aspects, the Stratos Team developed a business model that could be applied to the masses. Following the formation of Assembly Bill 8, the team knew it was time to begin implementing a hydrogen station network that could assist government, automakers, and consumers to transition from conventional fueled vehicles to hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
Since then StratosFuel has expanded its reach and developed software applications for station information, as well as put together a construction team to offer developmental solutions for hydrogen stations. We are pleased to be part of the hydrogen community, and will continue to assist in making hydrogen a viable fuel source for transportation.
Our partners are a collective group of state and local government agencies, investors, and equipment suppliers. We are all dedicated to help develop a reliable hydrogen infrastructure.
